Aniana Heras

Born in the middle of the Spanish countryside (Sigüenza, Guadalajara), Aniana studied art and design in Madrid before moving to Berlin, where we met, over 10 years ago.

After working as a designer and creative for more than 15 years, in February 2022 she began experimenting with clay as a way to explore new creative paths and reconnect with the physical world.

Drawing inspiration from the traditional Spanish ceramics of her region, as well as contemporary sculpture, design and architecture, her work focuses on awareness and grounding, using architectural and sculptural forms to explore the commonalities and boundaries between art and craftsmanship.

Through his works he also seeks to push the limits of the material, exploring the semantics of three-dimensional forms and creating works that are both timeless and contemporary.

Very fresh new entry in the Mena Fueco line up, we are proud to have her on board our vessel and be the first to exhibit her works ❤️
