INTRODUCTION TO POTTERY CLASS

🟢 Beginner Level

No experience is needed: just the desire to experiment with clay!

You will learn the basics of modelling, from preparing the clay to the techniques of pizzicato and colombino , an ancient technique based on the use of clay cords that are attached one above the other to create more complex or large-scale artefacts.

You will also learn how to use some of the fundamental tools for ceramic modeling and sculpting, such as mirettes and sticks.

👩‍🏫 Expertly Guided: Each lesson is an opportunity to bring your ideas to life, our teacher will help you turn your dreams into clay!

💥 Take your creations home: At the end of the session, you can select the creations you prefer and let us know, we will fire and glaze them for you! Waiting times are estimated at about three weeks, as the clay needs to dry slowly and completely before going into the oven for the first time.
For each fired and glazed object, a small contribution of €10 is required.
